God sent his only Son as a sacrifice for the sins of the world (John 3:16). All we have to do is accept his
gift. “That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart
that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved” (Romans 10:9).
Accepting Christ by no means removes every problem from our lives nor automatically makes us rich in
material things. Salvation through Christ saves us from the habit and dominion of sin over our lives.
Salvation saves us from the guilt of sin and the penalty of sin which is spiritual death (Ephesians 2:5).
Salvation also saves us at the Lord’s return from his wrath upon the world.
In Christ we are given an abundant life of meaning, purpose and joy. (John 10:10, John 14:27, John
15:11, John 6:35, 2 Corinthians 5:17, 2 Corinthians 12:9, Ephesians 4:24, Colossians 3:10, Philippians
4:13)
Will you accept his gift today?
